Very long fingers—Meddling disposition; ever finding fault; sometimes cruel out of mere tormenting instincts; the prisoner’s fingers.
Long fingers—-Love of detail; aptitude for doing small things well. Analytical capacities; sensitiveness over trifles.
Long, thin fingers—diplomats; deceivers; card sharers; pickpockets.
Average fingers—-Well balanced organism; sometimes very commonplace nature.
Short fingers— Quick under Handing of things taken as a whole; synthetically aptitudes. Intuitive faculty (with smooth joints).
Very short fingers—Bohemian, unconventional instincts; often laziness; selfishness through in difference; incapacity to understand and practice the common duties of life. Cruelty again, this time to obey rude, primitive instincts; the ruffian’s fingers. ”
